The late missionary, pastor, visionary filmmaker, Dr. William Portis, leaves FMI a rich legacy and an understanding of the powerful use of the media in conveying the good news of the Gospel. As an early pioneer and visionary in the use of the media, Dr. Portis inspired others through his example and training workshops. A memorial on his life and vision is being developed. FMI hopes to establish a media ministry center to further his vision.
